Job/Internship Search Resources

Handshake: SLU's Job and Internship Database

Handshake is your one-stop shop for all things career-related. Find job and internship postings, on-campus employment and information about career fairs and other events. You can also sign up for on-campus interviews, view sample resumes, cover letters and more.

Current students can log in to the database using .

Current students will automatically receive a Handshake profile upon enrollment. Access requests made prior to automatic onboarding will not be granted. 

SLU alumni are welcome to access the Handshake database as well. To establish an account, email handshake@slu.edu. Please include your full name, graduation year and the email address you'd like associated with the account.

Interested employers may register and post positions for SLU students and alumni for free. For assistance, please contact Career Services at 314-977-5481 or handshake@slu.edu.

Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP): Supporting Candidates with Disabilities

The Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities (WRP), coordinated by the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Defense, is a recruitment and referral program that connects federal and select private-sector employers with highly motivated college students, graduate students, and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to demonstrate their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs.

If you are interested in applying to the program and interviewing with a representative from WRP, please visit and click 鈥淪tudents Register Now!鈥 to get started! Please use a computer or tablet and not a mobile device.

Eligible students must:

  • Have a disability and be eligible under the Schedule A hiring authority
  • Be a United States citizen or national
  • Be currently enrolled in a degree program on a substantially full-time basis OR have graduated with a degree on or after April 1, 2019.
