Publications and Media Placements

He has authored and co-authored several publications in archival journals and has served as a peer reviewer for several leading journals and conferences in Aerospace Engineering. He also currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Aerospace Science and Technology Journal, the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Journal and the International Journal of Unmanned Systems Engineering.

Community Work and Service

Srikanth Gururajan joined Parks College in August 2014 as an Assistant Professor for the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department. Prior to joining the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering department at Parks College, Gururajan was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia. At West Virginia University, he managed the UAV flight testing program and oversaw the design and construction of the UAV platforms, the design of experiments, as well as the flight test implementation and identification of aircraft parameters from flight data. In addition, he has been active in interdisciplinary research, having initiated and conducted research projects in collaboration with researchers from within the College of Engineering as well as the College of Agriculture at WVU. His teaching interests are in the areas of flight dynamics and controls and he believes that student aerospace design competitions are ideal avenues for students to express their creativity while complementing the knowledge gained in the classroom and promote greater collaboration and learning across disciplines.
